Feuding to Feed the Hungry

About The Feud

The Feud began as a Bronco vs. Jeep Car Show and Rally in 2024 to honor the legacy of Clinton E. Layne, father of Osie Casey. Clinton was a veteran and retired coal miner who despite having limited means, devoted his life to providing for his community and feeding those in need.

At our inaugural event in 2024, we were able to collect enough funds and non-perishable food items for the Sprigg Freewill Baptist Church Youth Food Ministry to feed 30-40 children for three months. Our goal for 2025 is to collect enough to provide a year’s worth of support for them!

The Feud will be held annually in Historic Matewan, West Virginia, home of the Hatfield-McCoy Feud. We hope that if you join us, you will enjoy the beautiful scenery, history, and culture of the West Virginia-Kentucky area.

Due to the overwhelming support and outreach received since the Inaugural Feud, we have opened up the event and re-branded into The Feud All-Terrain Rally. We will now be including other capably equipped, high-clearance 4x4 vehicles, excluding side by sides.
